February 2021 is the 30th anniversary of our winning the Wella Vogue Salon of the Year award. At the time we were then based at No. 20 Charlotte Street, which was really the start of everything.
Winning the award was the beginning of my journey as a salon owner and stylist. I committed to quality and haircuts that last and can be recreated at home (much needed this year!). Being recognised by Vogue was great, but keeping a changing, but winning, team for 30 years (and counting) is perhaps the real achievement I’m proud of.
It’s certainly a celebration – a whole new chapter unfolded from here. And while time stops for no-one, I’m heartened we continue to appear in British Vogue mainly through London Fashion Week, but also collaborate on educational pieces, such as ‘Strobing For Hair: Does It Work?‘.
