The beacon of intelligence, style and glamour for more than 150 years names Andrew Jose in their Best London Hair Salons.
On Monday, 29th November, our session team Maria, Evelina, and Natasha were asked to create the hairstyles for Nina Kraviz, Greta Ferro and Solange Smith, with Greta achieving best-dressed celeb of the night.
The awards will raise funds for the British Fashion Council Foundation, a charity which supports the future growth and success of the British fashion industry by focusing on talent, education, grant-giving, and business mentoring.
From Dua Lipa to DJ Nina Kraviz and Lilly Allen, from Adriana Lima to Lila Moss, from Demi Moore to Greta Ferro – just some of the stars that walked the 2021 British Fashion Awards red carpet. Hosted at London’s Royal Albert Hall, it was great to play our part.
The British Fashion Council is now recognising fashion in a virtual reality, announcing a new category – Fashion Award for Metaverse design. The award recognises a digital designer who pushes the boundaries and showcases the excellence in digital fashion within the Metaverse.
The first recipient of this award comes from the digital Roblox community.
Our team is expanding and we are happy to welcome the inspired and skilled hair stylist, Nic Davis.
Nic is not only a long-time friend of the salon, but a name with 30 years of experience in cutting and finishing hair. His specialties include short haircuts, curly hair, hair problems and precision cutting – simplicity remastered!
Maria Kovacs is an excellent addition – her fresh approach to cutting and styling and her endless creativity makes a perfect fit to our central London salon. Maria is our session team’s coach for the last 5 years and now she made our salon her base when she’s off set.
You can now request a vegan colours for your colour service appointments. As well as being vegan certified, these products are also packed in a completely compostable packaging material. We understand the importance of keeping the balance in our environmental system and we strive to work within a healthy mindset. At the moment we hold a silver recycling award for trying to achieve a zero landfill salon waste.
We’ll continue to make sure our salon follows government guidelines in regard to COVID-19. As of Tuesday 30th November, the use of face coverings is now mandatory within our salon for staff and customers. We would like to thank all of our clients and staff alike for being so understanding with the ongoing salon precautions.
We are still capping the number of the clients in the salon, and we encourage online booking to secure your appointment.
We also ask that you do your part as well: keep your hands sanitised, keep your mask on unless asked to remove it and as courtesy to salon’s staff and clients, and we ask that if you’re feeling unwell or showing any flu-like symptoms in particular that you stay at home and follow the government guidelines. We are happy to reschedule all the appointments that cannot be made due to illness.
As we all know, a healthy body and immune system is the overall best defence and we want to help you achieve that in the safest possible way.
