At Paris Fashion Week 2026, hair moved beyond simply complementing the clothes – it became an architectural extension of the collections themselves. If 2025 leaned heavily into quiet luxury and understated naturalism, the new season marked a confident shift toward sculptural precision, amplified texture, and a renewed sense of glamour.
Tamara Ralph, known for haute couture, bridal, and accessories, continues to define modern, feminine luxury. Asian-inspired, origami-influenced styles extended into the hair designs. Whether ultra-cropped or long, the hair featured super-sculpted shapes, with incorporated pieces on some looks, reinforcing the architectural precision of the collection.
Elie Saab, renowned for sophisticated femininity, intricate hand embroidery, and fairytale-like garments, evoked Mediterranean jet-set 1970s nostalgia. The mood was one of enhanced, glamorous freedom. Hair was worn down in voluminous waves, alongside precision-cut long bobs with fringe, finished in full, voluminous blow-dries for an effortless effect. It was high fashion with a hedonistic soul – where opulence and nonchalance coexisted. An elegant glam-diva aesthetic was complemented by select sleek hair-ups.
Valentino Couture presented exquisite eveningwear in an immersive, cinematic show – richly opulent, romantic, and hypnotic. Afro hair was worn out, long hair was crimped, and natural textures were enhanced with a sleek, high-shine finish. There was a strong presence of hair worn down, face-framing fringe, and beautifully detailed curly long bobs, with meticulous attention to detail throughout.
In between the shows, Bulgari unveiled its new jewel-like “Minaudière” bag collection. Models wore hairstyles blending house heritage – French plaits and strong eyeliner – with a modern edge: hair worn down with a French leisure sensibility and luxurious shine. The hair perfectly complemented the design of these iconic pieces, bridging culture and fashion.
